How Tally Workspace Found FINDS Their Dream Office

After outgrowing their previous space, FINDS - a video and live stream fashion marketplace - turned their attention to finding a new London HQ for their team.

Finding a bright, contemporary design-led space that their young team would enjoy coming to was top priority.Knowing how time-consuming this project would be, FINDS turned to Tally Workspace to help them with their search. 

FINDS are on a mission to create a more interactive experience for people who love to buy and sell second-hand fashion.

Their video and live stream marketplace app helps to emulate the experience you would have by visiting a thrift store in person.Since its founding in 2021, its young female-led team has grown and grown to reach almost 20, with big plans to expand further in the future.With their growing team, they quickly realised that their previous office was no longer suitable and set about finding a larger space.

The majority of their team commutes into Waterloo, therefore the search was centred around Embankment and Covent Garden to ensure an easy commute for all of their team.

Tally Workspace reviewed the market and provides FINDS with over 30 options to suit their requirements.After going through the options with the FINDS team, Tally Workspace refined the search and presented some additional options which had become available.

On the viewings, the one space that stood out to the team at FINDS was Hamilton House.

Hamilton House is located on the Embankment with fantastic views over the Thames.The Grade II listed building had recently undergone a complete refurbishment, transforming it into a bright contemporary space, while still managing to maintain a lot of the beautiful original features.The space ticked all their boxes, it had great breakout and collaboration spaces, multiple meeting rooms that could fit between 6-50 people and also a few phone booths.There was also a roof terrace with incredible views over the river and surrounding gardens. 

FINDS decided that the last 10 desk space available there was a perfect fit for them.

As a startup with a growing team, FINDS wanted to ensure that it had a flexible lease term.Therefore it was important that a 6-month break clause was built into the contract.Jules and Chin from the Tally Workspace team were successfully able to negotiate this into the deal for them.Alongside this, they also arranged for a free storage unit located in the vaults of the building to be included in their contract. 

The team at FINDS are now happily settled into their new space at Hamilton House.
