As their previous office contract was coming to an end, NVOY Technologies decided they wanted to have a look at the rest of the market to see what other options might be available to them. They had a growing number of frustrations with their current space and felt that they might be able to get better value for money elsewhere. NVOY turned to Tally Workspace to help them out with their search.

The Background
NVOY Technologies provide hybrid companies with a fully managed IT support system. Since being founded in 2018, NVOY has been able to provide companies with invaluable support as they navigate the new world of hybrid working and the multiple IT challenges that come with having a remote/hybrid workforce.
Having been in their old office since before the pandemic, they felt it was time for a change of scene. They also had a growing list of frustrations with their existing office. NVOY no longer felt like they were getting good value for money at their current space due to a growing list of hidden extra costs every month, having to pay per person for tea and coffee rather than having it included in the monthly rent.
The Search
It was decided early on by NVOY that they wanted to stay in a similar location to their old office in order to keep commuting times similar for their team. Therefore, the search was mainly focused around the City and City Fringe locations. They wanted a space similar in size to their current space and most importantly, they needed a space that could adhere to their strict regulatory requirements.
Tally Workspace was able to provide NVOY with a comprehensive list of options, having done a full market review. After running through the motions together on a call, NVOY were able to shortlist a first round of spaces to view. These were all arranged by Tally Workplace and they joined NVOY at the viewings to make sure the right questions were asked.
After the first round of viewings, NVOY decided to revisit their brief and realised that they actually didn’t need such a large space. They also wanted to extend the search area to include Farringdon. Emma from Tally Workspace was able to keep adjusting the search and send NVOY alternative options.
After viewing several different spaces, the one that really stood out was an office near Liverpool Street called Crown Place. The building has a really impressive large reception as you come in, complete with a coffee stand and breakout space. The office itself had large floor-to-ceiling windows with amazing views over the City and allowing for lots of natural light. NVOY also really liked the look and feel of the breakout lounges and meeting rooms.
NVOY decided that the 8-desk private office available office at Crown Place was the perfect fit for their team. As a startup, being able to have flexible lease terms was essential for NVOY. Therefore, as part of the deal, Tally Workspace were able negotiate a 6 month break clause into their contract alongside a reduction on the headline rent.
NVOY are now happily settled in their new office after moving in at the start of April!
