Sophisticated soft seating greets you at reception, leading through to a huge, open-plan breakout area with loads of booths, more soft seating, plants and an on-site cafe. The building itself is huge, eight floors of office space with dedicated lounges and kitchens on every floor. It's recently been renovated, and the design throughout is very sophisticated and modern, with great amenities including an on-site gym, a rooftop terrace, a courtyard and dedicated focus spaces.
About Henry Wood House
Henry Wood House is a former BBC research and development building on Langham Place, named after Sir Henry Wood, founder of the BBC Proms, and sits next to the BBC's Grade II listed Broadcasting House. It is now run as flexible workspace by Fora.
The refurbishment kept as much of the original 1960s structure as possible, including restoring the terrazzo floors in the lift lobbies. Fora also worked with Danish textile company Kvadrat to upcycle old fabric from the building into tabletops for the on-site cafe.
On site there is a fitness studio with showers, changing rooms and bike storage, an on-site cafe with an attached courtyard, and a rooftop terrace with London views.
Private office suites run from around 2 desks up to full-floor space, and Fora can combine adjacent suites or offer full-floor occupancy for teams that want to scale up. There are 18 meeting rooms on site, from a 2-person sofa room up to configurations that combine for larger group bookings, plus a dedicated cinema room.
