Walking into Metal Box Factory is lovely, with water features on either side of you, close to London Bridge. It's a bright, buzzing space with a nice cafe, very fun and dynamic in vibe, and suits both start-ups and more mature companies. There's lots of breakout space with ample seating, outdoor space, and little nooks of breakout dotted around the building, plus lovely, sleek bookable meeting rooms.
About Metal Box Factory London
Metal Box Factory is a converted 19th-century industrial building on Great Guildford Street in Borough, run by Workspace. It takes its name from its original use manufacturing metal boxes, and still has its brutalist-style entrance and vaulted atrium.
Behind the entrance is a large enclosed roof garden with whitewashed brick walls, wooden floors and planting under a glazed roof. Several of the upper-floor offices and studios have their own balconies with floor-to-ceiling glazing and skyline views.
Offices run from around 3 desks up to a full floor of 100-plus, and come unfurnished so businesses can fit them out to their own spec. There are 8 meeting rooms on site, plus a cafe, showers and bike storage.
